Collection of general information
When you access our website, information of a general nature is gathered automatically. This information (server log files) includes, among others things, the type of browser and operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, and similar data. This is exclusively information that cannot be connected back to your person. This information arises inevitably while using the internet and it is necessary for technical reasons, as it is required for displaying the requested web content correctly. We undertake statistical analysis of anonymous information of this kind in order to improve the website and the technology behind it.
Similarly to many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. As part of this process we automatically receive specific data, such as the IP address, the browser used, the operating system on your computer, and your connection to the internet.
Cookies cannot be used to execute programmes or deliver viruses to your computer. Based on the information contained in the cookies, we can facilitate navigation and ensure that our website is displayed correctly.
The information we collect will never be forwarded to third parties or linked to personal data without your explicit consent.
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods which correspond with the state of the art (such as SSL) via HTTPS.
If you contact us via e-mail or the contact form, the information provided by you will be saved for the purpose of processing your request as well as for possible follow-up questions.
Deleting and blocking data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned here or as required according to the various storage periods outlined by the legislator. Once the respective purpose is no longer current or the storage period expires, the corresponding data will be blocked or deleted as required by law.
Use of font libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way across all browsers, we use script and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred into your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading processes. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.
Calling script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. In theory, it is then possible that the operators of said libraries to collect data (though currently unclear whether this is the case and, if so, for what purposes).
You can read the data privacy guidelines of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Use of Google Maps
You can get detailed instructions on managing your own data in relation to Google products here.
Your rights of access, rectification, blocking, cancellation and complaint
You have the right to obtain information at any time about any personal data related to you and stored by us. Likewise, you have the right to request correction, blocking or (as far as this complies with mandatory data storage for business transactions) deletion of your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer for such inquiries. The contact details are listed at the bottom.
In order for the blocking of data to occur at any time, this data must be kept for control purposes in a locked file. You can also request the deletion of data, to the extent that there is no legal obligation to archive this data. To the extent that such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.
You can change or revoke your consent with future effect by sending us a message with your specific request.
